This page explains what Ali Deal Hunter collects when you visit, and why.

What we collect

When you open a page we record the usual server data: your IP address, browser type, the page you opened and the page you came from. When you click a product button we record that click with a random id, the time, and the advertising identifiers that brought you here, so we can tell which of our articles and ads lead to purchases.

Cookies

We set a small number of first-party cookies: one that remembers which ad brought you here for seven days, and the Meta Pixel cookies described below. We do not sell data and we do not run third-party ad networks on this site.

Meta Pixel and Conversions API

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. To measure those ads we use the Meta Pixel on our pages and send Meta a server-side event when a purchase is attributed to a click from our site. The data sent is the click identifiers, your IP address and browser type, and the commission value of the order. Meta's handling of this data is described in Meta's privacy policy. You can limit ad tracking in your Facebook settings.

AliExpress

When you click through to AliExpress you leave this site and AliExpress's privacy policy applies. AliExpress tells us when an order placed through our link is paid, along with the order amount and commission. We do not receive your name, address or payment details.

Retention

Click records are kept for 90 days. Order records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting.
